Throughout the different cast experiments, I found that I have to destroy an object in someway to make a mold of it. Thus casting to me seems to be this desire of destroying the original so that I can repeat its replicas and keep them forever. This play between the original and replicas, temporal and eternity comes in the form of the wax leaves, a form of taxidermy. The spring like rods around it suggests movement, imitating the life it had before.
