I associate the idea of comfort with home. I have found that this sensation comes from a scene, an atmosphere, and not just one object. In this interior painting, I portrayed an everyday scene at my home. I heightened the warm hues to enhance that comfortable feeling. I also used a color blocking technique to blur out the details and focus more on the entire atmosphere created.
